Night and Day (2009)

Brand Identity

Ten artists were invited to draw graffiti on the space’s interior walls, while patrons are encouraged to do the same with markers that are left around the place.

Night and Day is a jazz bar-cum-alternative art, design and performance space. Ten artists were invited to draw graffiti on the space’s interior walls, while patrons are encouraged to do the same with markers that are left around the place. This way, the look of the space evolves constantly, and documents the movement of art and history. Night and Day pays homage to the lyrical romanticism and social criticism of Cole Porter’s 1932 song and Virginia Woolf’s 1919 novel, both of which share its name.
