LIEN (“link” in French) is the official newsletter of the Alliance française de Singapour, a leading French language school which also seeks to share international artworks with readers. Our lively cover concept for the May/June/July 2015 issue evokes the facade of the Alliance Française’s local headquarters, as well as the aesthetics of The Little Prince in the Dark, one of the exhibitions featured within the magazine. Banners interspersed with text stretch across the top edges of the pages, establishing a unique, streamlined coherence that resonates with the tastefully ordered columns of the typographical layout.
