Objectifs is a collection of stories based on various prominent local film producers and directors, centred around the idea that they all lead similar but very different lives. Building a cohesive layout system based on this concept, with a meticulously allocated grid system for the typesetting and arrangement of alphabets on the cover and on the inside pages of the publication, we have designed a system to facilitate the layout which will then be created accordingly. An invisible grid of the 26 alphabets was set up with section dividers, while corresponding letters were made visible to spell out the names of these film-makers respectively, amidst the jumble of characters. This highly conceptual system is an effective take on a customised appearance, based off of an identical system, thereby drawing parallels and differences between the professional lives of each individual in the industry through their personal experiences and personalities.
